The scalimeter or architect's rule is very useful for making scale drawings. Scalimeters are widely used in architecture and engineering, by draughtsmen, surveyors, designers.
The scalimeter saves architects and engineers a lot of time by freeing them from the use of a calculator.
The STANDARDGRAPH scalimeter is very convenient as the resulting edges are similar to beveled rulers and allow the measurement to be drawn and read more easily. It has a maximum of six scales. They are made of aluminium as they are much more accurate and less sensitive to temperature expansion.
