Traveler`s 15 cm brass ruler is used by the process of pressing, shaping, bending and pressing again.
The function is so simple, and in a sense, that is why a delicate Japanese-based technique is required to make this item.
One side of the ruler is slanted for easy carrying and line drawing.
Through use, the surface begins to oxidise, and this deepens the colour and adds flavour to the material itself.
